Ken Davies

My name is Ken Davies and I am running for Mecklenburg County Commissioner at large.

Mecklenburg County is my home. I have lived here for 40 years. I grew up on Selwyn Avenue in Southeast Charlotte and went to Myers Park High School. I graduated from UNC in 1975 and obtained my law degree from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon in 1980. I have practiced Law here for 25 years, representing everyday people and neighborhood associations.

I care deeply about this community. Mecklenburg County has always been a great place to live, it still is, but lately I have seen faults in the foundation of my home, some cracks bricks that make up our community. We need fresh ideas and leaders that are not in denial about our real problems. Mecklenburg County needs problem solvers willing to challenge the status quo.
