VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

CHARLOTTE AREA GREENS have been involved in quite a few activities since we started. If you want to help the party grow or get involved in any of our yearly events, please email any of our Officers.

STREAM CLEAN UP
The CAGP has adopted a stream in the Midtown Square area under the city clean-up program. Our stream clean-ups are held twice a year, in May and November. You can contact Kathryn Kuppers or call 704-888-0108 to find out more.

EARTH DAY
Each April the CAGP participates in the UNC-Charlotte Earth Day celebration to advance the Green cause, and volunteers will always be welcome. Contact any of our Officers if you are interested in helping us on Earth Day.

LABOR DAY
Every September the CAGP takes part in the Charlotte Labor Day Parade in downtown Charlotte, one of the few Labor Day parades in the Southeast. The planning for the parade begins in May, and volunteers can be part of the planning meetings or can just help us increase our presence by marching with us on Labor Day.

OUTREACH
As our numbers grow, there will be new opportunities all the time. If you have any particular interests, let us know.
